HOA Recall meeting March 20th, location and time to be determined. Please check the website for updates. The HOA will be mailing a reminder and a proxy vote to all residents, so please watch your mail. If you cannot attend the meeting, please send your proxy. 2 Board seats are up for re-election, 2 Directors 3 year terms, and we are required to have 352 households vote in order to confirm the election. Based on new regulations imposed by the Texas Legislature, we have to have an election, the board can no longer appoint someone to a vacant position. Bill Elkin is running for his seat again and we have 3 others that were nominated at the last meeting in November. Tim Miller Steve Wright Raj Gupta County Park Coming in 2012: Harris county has begun the process of building a park on the property north of Copper Lakes directly behind Sections 15, 12, & 16. Harris County Flood Control should be done with preparing the property by April or May of 2012. At that time the work will begin on the actual park. The park will take approximately 3 months to complete and will include the following: 1. Family picnic and playground area with playground areas for older and younger kids, picnic tables, and protective fencing around the retention pond. The main entrance for this park will most likely be off Wheatcross behind the volleyball facility. 2. Hiking/Biking Trail around the entire perimeter of the property with exercise stations throughout. The trail will be approximately 2.25 miles in length. 3. Dog Park- this will be located on the side of the property farthest north from our homes. The dog park entrance will be off Barker Cypress along the current utility lines and will have a designated parking area.
